Managing Director at Burger Huyser Attorneys

Marni Huyser obtained her BCom Law and Economics Degree from the North-West University in 2011, her LLB Degree from the same institution in 2012 and a Master’s Degree in Tax Law (Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2017. As the founder, she has led Burger Huyser Attorney’s strategic direction, rebranding and repositioning in the legal field. With over 12 years of experience, Marni acts as the Managing Director of Burger Huyser Attorneys from our main branch in Linden. Marni provides legal advice in high-profile commercial matters and oversees quality control in matters across all branches.

Anna-Mi Nel

Director and Head of Family Law Department

Anna-Mi Nel obtained her Bcom Law degree at the Northwest University (Cum Laude) in 2012 and thereafter her LLB Degree (also Cum Laude) at the same institution in 2014.

She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2017. Anna-Mi is the Co-Director of the Sandton Branch and the Head of Family Law, specialising in Divorces and Custody.

She also assists and oversees the Administration of Deceased Estates, whilst running the High Court Litigation Department.

Nadine Roesch-Prinsloo

Nadine Roesch-Prinsloo obtained her Bcom Law Degree from the North West University in 2017 and thereafter her LLB Degree from the same institution in 2019.

She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2021 and currently serves as the Director of the Roodepoort Branch. She is the Head of General Litigation, specialising in Family Law, including Divorces, Motor Vehicle Accidents and Insurance Repudiations.

Stefaans Gerber obtained his LLB from the University of Free State in 2010, and qualified as a Patent Attorney in 2020. Nitisha Chetty is a Candidate Attorney currently serving at Edelstein Farber Grobler Incorporated, with extensive exposure across litigation, family law, labour law, property law, and corporate and commercial law. Nitisha gained practical legal experience during her articles, where she has been actively involved in drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, attending client consultations, and appearing in court. She has also represented matters at the Rental Housing Tribunal of the North West, demonstrating strong advocacy and procedural knowledge.

Her prior experience includes job shadowing at Dreyer Engelbrecht Attorneys, where she was exposed to High Court litigation and client consultations, as well as volunteer work at the Teddy Bear Clinic, which strengthened her commitment to children’s rights and developed her interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. She also gained valuable commercial experience at Car Service City, where she assisted with debt recovery, invoicing, and client management.

Madeleine Conway has over 42 years of experience in Debt Collection and serves as Head of Debt Collection at Burger Huyser Attorneys. Madeleine oversees the day-to-day running of the department and its legal secretaries to ensure effective debt collection on behalf of the firm and its clients. Madeleine also assists clients by handling queries, responding to email instructions, providing client feedback, and providing customer care.
